Trustee visit to St Dominic’s School
An important (and enjoyable) part of being a trustee is getting out and about to see the Trust’s mission of ‘working together to transform lives’ in practice.
Long serving Trustee, Barbara McIntosh visited St Dominic’s School just before Christmas. She was delighted to meet with the Principal Vicky Perry and see students at the school in music sessions and lessons.
Barbara said of her visit: “St Dominic’s exceeded my expectations. The resilience, innovation, and kindness of the staff were impressive. It was wonderful to see 160 children with a variety of complex diagnoses enjoying themselves, engaging, and connecting with one another. A true reflection of inclusion in action.”
We are incredibly grateful to our trustees who make time to visit academies and College Centres across the Trust. These visits help to reinforce the amazing work that takes place and inform board meetings.
