Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust is fundraising to create more opportunities for our pupils and students at our schools and college centres. Please join us!

About Us
Orchard Hill College (the College) and Orchard Hill College Academy Trust (the Trust) together form Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT), a family of specialist education providers for over 1500 pupils and students from nursery through to further education across London, Surrey and Sussex.

Pupils and students within the OHC&AT family of providers have a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs including complex autism; speech, language and communication difficulties; social, emotional and mental health; and physical disabilities including multi-sensory impairment and complex health needs.

The College was established in 1983 and now operates from six college centres across London and Surrey. In 2013, the College established the Trust to share its expertise and provide services and support to specialist schools. The Trust is now home to 15 special schools across London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire.

The uniqueness of OHC&AT is that it is fully representative of all designations of special education needs and disabilities. Across the whole organisation there are a range of experts and practitioners who advocate for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities to ensure they receive the best possible opportunities to achieve their full potential.

Charitable Status
Both the College and the Trust are charities and are each able to fundraise. Whilst the College is a registered charity with a registered charity number, the Trust is an exempt charity and is not required to be registered with the Charity Commission. OHC&AT is the umbrella name for both the College (OHC) and the Trust (OHCAT) and is not a charity.

Our Approach to Fundraising
We will raise funds for specific projects that will benefit existing and future pupils and students where funds for these projects cannot be accessed via existing channels i.e. government education funding.

We will fundraise for projects that will provide opportunities and enhance the learning experience and environment for our pupils and students.

This is a very exciting and pivotal moment in the lives of St Dominic’s, Brantridge and Grafham Grange schools.  Academy conversion under the sponsorship of Orchard Hill College Academy Trust will help secure their futures and, no doubt, lead to better outcomes for pupils and students, families and carers, staff and all stakeholders.
