Shakespeare Gold School Award for Bedelsford

We’re delighted to announce that Bedelsford School has been awarded the ‘Gold School Status’ by Coram’s Shakespeare for School’s Foundation for their continued participation in the Shakespeare for Schools festival.

This year the Bedelsford students helped to close the Festival with a performance of The Tempest at the Rose Theatre in May. In previous years students have performed their interpretations of Much Ado about Nothing and other Shakespeare plays.

The Bedelsford students love to take to the stage, wearing the costumes and making the performance their own using sensory and visual cues to bring the plays to life.
