Rugby Legend Interview
As part of her work experience with Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust’s (OHC&AT) Digital School, student, Katrina had the opportunity to interview Harlequin’s rugby legend, Mark Lambert at their home ground the Stoop in Twickenham.
Mark plays loosehead prop for the Harlequins and has made 239 appearances, making him one of the most-capped players in the Club’s history. Off the pitch, Mark is an ambassador for the Harlequins Foundation.
Budding journalist, Katrina, was really well organised, prepped with questions and was keen to find out why Mark chose rugby as his sport, his route to Harlequins and the drive required to become a professional sports person.
Like all good journalists, Katrina soon had Mark chatting about his love of the game, why he is passionate about rugby being an inclusive game for all to enjoy and the importance of keeping physically and mentally fit.
At the end of the questions, Mark praised Katrina for her professionalism and said he really enjoyed the interview.
