Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists pays a visit to Bedelsford School

Bedelsford School were delighted to host a visit from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. Steve Jamieson, the chief executive of the RCSLT visited the school and saw first hand the vital contribution Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) makes to the pupils at the school.

Jess Webb, Assistant Principal at Bedelsford, said “Speech and language therapy makes a vital contribution to the lives of the Bedelsford School pupils, all of whom have special educational needs and many also have complex medical needs. The close working relationship we have developed over the years with Your Healthcare enables us to provide a high quality, tailored service to the children in our school, and we see the positive impact this has on a daily basis. It was a pleasure to meet Steve Jamieson and show him children’s speech and language therapy in practice and how we work together with the SALT team to integrate therapies into our provision.”
