Retirement message from Dr Caroline Allen, OBE

By Adrian Notter - February 26th, 2019 | Posted in News

I will be retiring from Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust this summer, after 32 years. They have been 32 truly amazing years and I want to thank so many pupils and students, staff, families and professional colleagues as I look back over our time together. I’m immensely grateful for your unstinting support for me along the way.

Working with our SEND pupils and students alongside our staff, governors and other stakeholders, has been a privilege. I have seen so many OHC&AT pupils and students benefit from our provisions and overcome significant personal challenges to attain wonderful, positive outcomes and it’s these memories which I shall treasure dearly.

I know that I leave OHC&AT in safe hands. We have leadership, governors and trustees with exceptional knowledge, expertise and experience, we have highly specialist staff teams, supportive parents and professional colleagues and truly inspiring pupils and students. I’m looking forward to watching all the developments and successes of OHC&AT, changing lives for our pupils, students and communities in the years to come.

Dr Caroline Allen, OBE.
