New Digital Skills Qualification

We are proud to announce that our Digital School students’ will be offered an opportunity to work towards an entry level Digital Skills qualification accredited by Ascentis.

The qualification is made up of two mandatory modules in Online and Computer basics. Students also choose two from the following five optional modules; Digital Photography, Digital Music, Audio and Video Software, Digital Media and Social Networking.

We have an initial cohort of ten students, who on successful completion of the programme will be awarded a Diploma in Digital Skills.

Senior Teaching Aide, Rhys Johnson, said: “I am proud to lead our first cohort of students through this programme, I feel really strongly about digital inclusion and this will open doors for students to access new avenues of employment utilising their recently acquired digital skills.”

As a community of learners, families and colleagues OHC&AT believes that by working collaboratively, with energy and ambition we can always effect positive change. No limit is placed on what is possible and everyone has the ability to be the very best they can be.
