Person Specification

We are open to applications from candidates from a range of subject specialisms, as we can be flexible in designing our timetable and curriculum for next year. However, candidates that were able to offer any of the following subject areas would be particularly welcomed: Science, Outdoor Education including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Computing or Specialist Life Skills teaching for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Please do consider applying if you do not fall into any of the above categories though, as we are always looking for enthusiastic, innovating, and inspiring teachers.

We welcome applicants from all teaching backgrounds to join our Outstanding team; both NQTs and more experienced colleagues are welcome to apply for this post.

To support staff wellbeing, we have ‘Marking Mondays’ and ‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’. This means we focus on getting all our marking done during school time, an achievable task with a maximum of 12 students in each class. Each half term we have a Wellbeing Wednesday – in more ‘normal’ times we have held staff BBQs and Easter Egg hunts!
