Lead Teacher in charge of New Satellite Provision

Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale - (negotiable depending on experience) A SEN (lower) allowance of £2149 per annum and TLR3 allowance of £2683 are payable on appointment. The full SEN allowance of £4242 per annum is payable following the acquisition of a post-graduate qualification in the field (supported by the school), the completion of two years in post at Dysart or significant SEN experience.

Person Specification

We are looking for a very special person to be the Lead Teacher of our new Satellite Provision for children who have severe and complex learning disabilities, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions.   We are seeking to recruit a lead teacher who has drive, creativity and a passion for teaching and learning to join our dedicated and welcoming team.  Experience of working with pupils with SEN is essential.  It is imperative that you have high expectations, a sense of humour, a love of challenge and a determination to make a difference to the lives of our fantastic children.

The school is committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to meeting pupils’ needs, and promotes high quality professional development for all staff.
