Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT) is a family of specialist education providers for over 1500 pupils and students from nursery to further education across 15 academies and 8 college centres in London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. Supporting our academies and college, OHC&AT also operate learning support, such as nursing and therapy, and business support services.

Reporting to the HR Director, the Head of HR will have responsibility for managing a team of HR Business Partners delivering an advisory service to schools and college centres across the Trust. With a generalist background, they will be available to make recommendations for strategic decision-making. They will be sufficiently flexible to deal with the range of challenges, responding quickly, effectively with creative innovative solutions, which remain coherent with our core values and will lead the team to work closely with Principals, Directors and Heads of Service.
You will have a recognised HR qualification and experience in the education sector is preferred. You will have the ability to present complex information in an understandable way and be willing to work closely with others in the team to develop the HR function.
