Job Details
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-driven, flexible and talented Teacher to teach English across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated team of teachers, therapists and behaviour specialists in a supportive environment where planning is informed by our multi-disciplinary team which allows for a blended approach across the curriculum. As well as academic progression, the school’s approach aims to ensure that every child and young person is developed to enable them to reach their full potential and add value to society and live life to the full.

Person Specification
You must have an innovative and engaging approach to lessons to convey the subject to pupils and students, and monitor and assess to ensure the best possible progress.
Applications are welcome from both NQTs and experienced teachers. Experience of working within a SEN setting is desirable, but not essential.

St Dominic’s School is a special academy in Surrey and provides outstanding education for pupils and students aged 7-19 typically with a primary diagnosis of Speech Language & Communication Needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition. The school is located in Hambledon, close to Witley, Milford, Guildford and Godalming.
We are part of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust (OHC&AT), a specialist Trust with 12 Academies and 7 College Centres across London, Surrey and Sussex.
At St Dominic’s we believe passionately in a multi-disciplinary, ‘needs led’ approach to meeting each child’s and young person’s needs, resulting in carefully managed groupings, including specialist intervention work from our in house therapeutic team.
