£13,677 - £17,793 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance (FTE £35,236 - £45,838 per annum)
Sutton, SM2, however travel across sites will be required
Part-time role 2 days per week, term time + 5 weeks

Job Details

Status: 12 months fixed term contract

The Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner will provide a high standard of clinically effective, person centred and evidence based assessment of wellbeing, and intervention to students with profound/multiple learning disabilities as well as physical disability/complex physical health needs and SEMH needs. They will support staff wellbeing, by developing and delivering training for staff and managers to promote health and wellbeing in the workplace and provide support and supervision for our mental health first aiders. They will also play a pivotal role in building a Wellbeing Pathway to support students and staff.

Person Specification

The right person will have attained a degree or graduate diploma in Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Behaviour Therapy and will have significant experience of assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating interventions. They will have a good understanding of the factors and a knowledge of the issues relating to health, lifestyle and mental health in children, young people and adults and how it may present and the impact it can have on individuals.
