We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to join our team on the journey to Outstanding.  Our commitment to wellbeing is evidenced by the fact that this year we have NO teachers leaving the school!

Carew Academy is a Good school, with an Outstanding judgement for Behaviour and Safety, for pupils between the ages of 7 and 18 who have moderate learning difficulties or a diagnosis of ASD. Carew is an amazing place to work and I encourage you to come and visit to see what makes us special.

The school has grown rapidly over the last two years from 155 students to 220 students due to its popularity within the local community.  We still have a family feel and know each student by name.  Our parents are incredibly supportive of the school.

Carew has recently had its application to build a brand new school building approved, so this is an exciting time to be joining us with an increasing pupil roll and lots of opportunities for career development within our wider family of Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust.
