Job Details
The Link Primary School formulates part of Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust providing non-residential, specialist teaching and therapy for 51 children aged 4-11 years whose primary need is Speech, Language and Communication. Many of the pupils are also on the autistic spectrum and have a wide range of cognitive and sensory need.
The post holder will join an established team of occupational therapists who are jointly responsible for providing a therapy service to the Link Primary School. The team works in partnership with teachers and support staff in our child centred classrooms.

Person Specification
We require an experienced Occupational Therapist to work as part of our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including Speech and Language Therapists) to support our pupils in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as instructing and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes/groups and use of specialised equipment. You will also deliver training to other staff.
