Christmas market 2025

Join our communities this Christmas

Sprinkle some festive cheer this Christmas

There are many opportunities to make a difference in our schools and college communities over the Christmas period.

For example some schools organise Christmas Markets so that the learners who may be unable to access shops independently, can buy gifts for family members in a supported environment.

We welcome donations of gifts, wrapping paper, raffle prizes but we are also incredibly grateful to any organisations who can lend us some volunteers for a few hours to help wrap presents like our amazing volunteers from Cardo and the Royal Borough of Kingston who helped out at Bedelsford School’s Christmas Market.

Run the London Marathon

Challenge yourself at the World’s most popular marathon

A record-breaking number of people entered the ballot for the 2027 London Marathon, and applicants have now found out whether they were successful.

If you were lucky enough to secure a ballot place? Why not make your miles matter and join Team OHC in support of Orchard Hill College? There’s no minimum fundraising target – just raise what you can and help transform the lives of our students along with the support and resources from our Fundraising team along the way.

We have a limited number of Team OHC charity places available for the accessible marathon. These places do come with a fundraising commitment, but we’ll support you every step of the way on your marathon journey.

Whether you’ve already secured your place or are looking for a charity spot, we’d love to welcome you to Team OHC for the 2027 London Marathon!

Project Green

Help to create inclusive, biodiverse spaces where every learner can thrive outdoors

Project Green is an Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust initiative focused on transforming underused school environments into vibrant, accessible, and biodiverse outdoor spaces. Designed specifically to support the wellbeing, learning, and development of young people with special educational needs and disabilities, the project brings together sustainability and inclusion in a powerful way.

Through planting, rewilding, and the creation of sensory-friendly environments, Project Green:

  • Encourages meaningful engagement with nature
  • Builds confidence and independence
  • Supports the development of practical life skills

By enhancing our school grounds, we’re not only improving day-to-day experiences for learners – we’re also creating lasting social and environmental impact across our communities.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone taking part this week and look forward to seeing Project Green grow throughout the year.

If you would like to be involved in helping one our schools or colleges in your region, then please contact or Head of Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships Sarah-Jane at fundraising@ohcat.org
