Business & Office Managers Network Group

OHC&AT hosted their first academy Business & Office Managers Network Group meeting on 1st March. The group was set up to enable delegates to meet fellow colleagues from other academies within the Trust and put them in contact with each other to build a network group. There were presentations from Cygnet IT (support SIMS system within most of the academies) and shared service teams, who introduced themselves and explained the processes they have in place.

Many of the academy delegates had not met each other before and found it really valuable to get together and share experiences, knowledge and good practice. Feedback very positive, including the following statements:

“Hearing other’s views and comments was very beneficial.”
“It gave me a much better insight/understanding of the process and the deadlines etc. “
“More of the same for me please.”
“It was a really good day and lovely to put faces to names.”
The Monday after the event some of the academies made the most of their new contacts and rang each other to continue their knowledge sharing.
