Brantridge Welcomes Thinking Bigger Author

Pupils and staff at Brantridge School were delighted to welcome author Gary Fyles into school on World Book Day. Gary has created a series of books under the umbrella of Thinking Bigger and he spoke to pupils about positive thinking and having a growth mindset.

He read from his books, shared his story and ran activities. He even gave the boys a sneak peek at Corduroy Punting Spatz, a new book he is currently working on. Gary said the pupils at Brantridge had some fantastic ideas that he might use in future books and the event was one of his best World Book Days Social yet.

Gary’s visit was just one activity with a literacy focus that the school had organised for the week leading up to World Book Day.
