About The Link Secondary School

The Link Secondary School specialises in meeting the needs of students who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties and provides placements for students from a wide range of local authorities. We are situated in the London Borough of Sutton and are easily accessible by public transport from Waddon Station and well placed to draw upon a wide range of leisure, recreational and educational facilities having easy access to Surrey and London.

The Link Secondary School is an academy and part of The Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT) As a small special school we provide education for up to 56 students, aged between 11-16 with an additional provision for students aged 16-19. There is also a Link Primary School and the two schools maintain close liaison. Both schools are approved by the DfE and children are referred to the schools by Local Education Authorities.

Establishing and developing relationships with parents and carers is a central part of our philosophy. Children learn best when the school and parents work together and we value the contribution that parents make to our school and endeavour to provide many opportunities for quality collaboration.

The school is committed to equal opportunities. The school building is small and friendly.

Our Academies

This is a very exciting and pivotal moment in the lives of St Dominic’s, Brantridge and Grafham Grange schools.  Academy conversion under the sponsorship of Orchard Hill College Academy Trust will help secure their futures and, no doubt, lead to better outcomes for pupils and students, families and carers, staff and all stakeholders.
