Addington Valley Academy will be a 150 place co-educational school specialising in autism and complex needs which addresses the social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional, and behavioural needs of pupils aged 2 – 19.
Addington Valley Academy will initially be located at our temporary site in Canterbury Road, Croydon from September 2020 until our newly constructed school, purpose designed to meet the needs of students with autism and complex needs, opens at Field Way, New Addington from September 2021.
This is a very exciting and pivotal moment in the lives of St Dominic’s, Brantridge and Grafham Grange schools. Academy conversion under the sponsorship of Orchard Hill College Academy Trust will help secure their futures and, no doubt, lead to better outcomes for pupils and students, families and carers, staff and all stakeholders.
