Carew Academy
A big Volunteers’ Week THANK YOU!
This Volunteers’ Week we would like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who offer their time and expertise to help improve the educational experience for the children and young people we serve. You are an integral part of our ethos, ‘Working together to Transform Lives’
From Trustees to Local Governors and not forgetting those involved in our ‘Friends of’ PTAs, literacy volunteers and school trip helpers, we say THANK YOU!
Volunteers’ Week is an annual UK-wide campaign that has been running for over 40 years and celebrates and recognise the contributions of volunteers. The campaign highlights the diversity and unity of volunteer work across the UK.
We are very grateful for the energy and skills that volunteers bring to our Academies, College Centres and the Trust. You are an integral part of our mission ‘Working together to Transform Lives’
The photos below are from the annual Governance conference and recent visits by Trustees and Local Governors. We also show a snapshot of the fundraising activities by our Friends Of charitable organisations.
If you would like to get involved we are particularly looking for Local Governors and you can find out more about this role by clicking the link below:
